The Adult Employment Job Search Program
The Adult Employment Job Search Program is available for those who are unemployed or underemployed and in need of assistance while seeking employment.
The free workshops are offered each weekday morning from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Select the workshop/s which will benefit your personal job search.
• Monday- Resume Development or Labour Market Information and the Hidden Job Market
• Tuesday- Cover Letter Development or Interview Strategies
• Wednesday- Labour Market Information and the Hidden Job Market or Strategies for the Older Worker
• Thursday- Interview Strategies or Resume Development
• Friday- Introduction to the use of MS Word and the Internet for Job Search or Cover Letter Development
Employment Counsellors are also available for individual appointments with participants. The use of computers, resource materials, and telephone access, as well as the services of photocopying, faxing, and a current job board are on site. The program is funded by Canada British Columbia Labour Market Development Agreement.
